Poetry: A Woman's Worth

A Woman's Worth

do you feel that,
the warmth these fingers give you
as it gently grazes through your rough manes
jet black with blushing shades of brown
soft as the finest Mulberry silk
it brings shivers down your spine
more love than ever to share while being true
a woman's worth

my dear
you may embellish her with the purest of gold
adorn her hair with the prettiest blooms of spring
drape her slender body with exorbitant dresses
and designer shoes of fame
then make love
till lust fades
but darling
don't take granted her love she has for you
these doesn't define
a woman's worth

oh handsome hearts,
look beyond these curtains of blind pursuits
instead listen to the way she walks with you
how loud her heart sings in your sultry embrace
the way her eyes speaks gloriously of you
and her words that holds all your sorrows
as she grows through stormy days with you
for she's the thunder amidst heavy rain drops
that falls on your shoulders
strong
a woman's worth

so love,
embellish her with your purest mind
adorn her days with food cooked with your loving hands
drape her slender body with your divine kisses
and touch her deepest secrets with your whispers
then make love ever passionately
till the fragrant candle melts through the darkness of night
and the absolute stillness greets your graze with hers
talk,
endlessly
make her laugh with your silly humor
tickle her if you need to
just stay
cuddle with time
putting her first
because a real woman is all that
and a real man knows,
a woman's worth
