Handsome Flower
don't wither in grief
wipe those salty tears,
hush,
these hands will water you
till its flesh and bones are one with the Earth
and if that isn't enough
these ripe lips will fill your days
with joyful laughter
words of passion
from the abyss of this mortal being
to the heavens above
will this forbearing spirit cry
hailing in the powers of prayers
look
the candles are already lit and burning
at the altar by His feet it flickers
of hope and faith
in every drop of sweet scented wax
even the walls are tainted with its fragrance
He heard my pledge
away with the worries now
seek the Sun oh vibrant petals of love
its bright rays
i tell you
they'll warm your heart
and if rain falls over you
don't loose
yearn,
rejoice in gratitude
for the ever changing seasons
are lessons in time
