Poetry: Hey Brother

                                                      HEY BROTHER

Hey brother,
Hope you're doing better than ever,
I know sometimes it creeps in, your fear,
Keep going little one for you're kind and clever

Hey brother,
We used to fight over petty things remember,
Playing catch outside no matter what the weather,
And marking our prints on the hung up calendar,
Those were the simple things that bought us pleasure
I wish you'd keep them in your memories forever,
They're invaluable moments only ours to treasure

Hey brother,
Time hasn't been on our side somehow rather,
You moved to a new place right at the city's centre,
Working hard on your dreams, born to be a contender,
Sometimes I wish we could hang out together,
Just us, good music, the stirring wheel and perhaps a burger,
Singing along to Coldplay with winds in our hair, Oh what splendour!

Hey brother,
If days are hard for you my dear,
And the skies are grey with slumber,
Always believe that we have each other,
You're family, my love has no measure,
Remember blood is thicker than water,
Nothing could break us, tear or sever

Hey brother,
Stay as adventurous as you are, eager to discover,
The beauty in what the world has to offer,
You heart is so loving, spirited and tender,
That when troubles comes around to linger,
Help is what you wouldn't hesitate to render

Hey brother,
You were born on the first half of the year,
Just precisely 12 months after me later,
There are tons of stories mom used to say loud and clear
Especially the days when you'd wipe away her tear,
She loved you more than ever, truly sincere,
Keeping you in her lullabies safe and near

Hey brother,
No matter what you choose to appear,
Remember to paint this world with your colour,
And rise against all odds leaving everyone in        wonder,
Of how powerful of a human you are uncover,
Eventhough you feel like you're falling down under,
You'll always be my one and only amazing little  brother!
Oh, always remember how lucky you are for having me as your sister !
Hahaha, just kidding!
