Poetry: Trust

                                                           Trust

The dead crow stared back at her,
As she stood there in fear,
Heavy traffic and busy streets were all she could hear,
Slowly one by one she sheded her tear,
Nothing has been the same as it were,

Although peace and joy is what she always ran after,
Everything close and anything she holds dear,
Always seemed to vanish in a blink of an eye and disappear,
The good memories she holds to her near,
But the haunting shadows of her past always leeked and lure,

Albeit trying to live by now and what's right here,
She believed in herself, so quirky and queer,
Her mind was focused, confident and clear,
Her soul was alive filled, spirit's sharp and sheer,
Full of fight she turns up her life's gear,
"You're going to make it even if it takes a day, a month or a year"
She heard a tiny voice whisper

Like the calm breeze he walked,
Into her closed heart he knocked,
Knowing how she had kept it tightly locked,
He slowly uncovered her as they continued to talk,
Cheeky as he was he tried and it was her he stalked,
In all of her awe one day she found out, shocked,
Realized he was true and it was her he hawked,
Happiness and joy was everything he brought,
Her heart skipped a beat, how nice he is she thought,
Yet "Can I give my trust to him or not",
Was the only question that in her mind she bravely fought,
"Please guide me dear Mother of God",
She pleaded she prayed, it was Him she sought,
"I love him with all of my heart very much a lot"
Make him stay by me forever dear Lord
