Poetry: Acceptance

                                                           Acceptance

Have the ways of the world blinded you,
Or are you lost in life's unending skew,
Sad how people change unfortunately  as time flew,
Yet,
Some change gracefully under the sky so blue,
Others just embrace what's coming in new,
Either way I'll do me and you do you,,
That's just one thing that's for sure it's true

No matter the kind of days we went through,
Perhaps its just a picture of fate God drew,
These sands of moments it has brought us to,
Born of the womb and long overdue,
Aren't we all walking in our own two shoes

To be ourselves is all that's left to ask,
In a place where selfishness and hate lingers they bask,
Funny how we hope with a shellhard mask,
This fight is an uphill climb not an easy task

We think about it, somehow regret saying it,
So much that it tears us to the very bit,
Like we've fallen down a deep dark pit,
That only feels like a gigantic hollow hit,

Bright lit candles do look gorgeous in the dark,
Burning gracefully in its own little spark,
Like the smile of a child in his mother's arms so stark,
Human are we born on this Earth to leave a mark,
Full of live and hope in our every soul, Hark!

How then are we different my friend,
When we are all we have to depend,
As we help the broken ones, to try and mend,
Don't we breath the same air or drink of the same cup in the end,
The Cup of Life that transcends
