Poetry: Exquisite Minds

   Exquisite Minds

dark brown pair of eyes stayed fix
into the vacant space between the walls
as if the empty room
bone white
has so much to profess, stories that longed to be shared,
turn down the volume
of this subconscious being
hear then,
the antecedent treading

his bold arms wrapped around her dainty frame
like snow falling onto a hot summer's ground
melting the ice barricades
of her cold frosted heart
thank you
his warm ears twitched
to her gentle whispers
as he dug his broad fingers
into her soft tresses
shades of black and burgundy
lips of cherry wine traced
down the lines of her neck
as if trailing down the thoughts
of her exquisite mind
reading her
every believe, ideas and views
through his touch
perhaps that's what this is
falling in love
