Poetry: Surrender

                             Surrender

The end doesn't daunt anymore
Or shed it's darkness in delight
Neither hanging on yesterday nor
Lurking on succeeding days
Mortal of raw flesh and blood of this being
From a womb that bore sorrows
Heavier than my shoulders could bear
For hope springs eternal
And love bore it's seed in parched soil of yesterday
Never did I imagine
This Shriveled ground would sprout
in exuberance of my failures
Oh how perfect this imperfection is
These eyes finally sees beyond skin
Caged mind of doubts unshackled
And hands raised in surrender
I give unto You
Kingdom mightier than words of prophecy
Take it
Take it all
