Poetry: Pigments

                         Pigments

Through the cracked glass
Of the dainty window
My being pondered
Of this Coloured existence
Plugged into seasoned soil
Brown
The pigment of my skin
Screams in joy
As tears watered down
Burning through
The battered scars
Again and again
Till there was nothing
Till it's numb
Consoling worned barricades
Where pain mercilessly creep
Through holes of fear and blame
I began to wonder
How to save a life
